Adventure Cove

From the title you must have guess what this post is about. Above is the picture of the peeps i went to adventure cove with. Its the first group photo that we took before our hair got wet. Before i continue blogging, i gotta apologise for not being blogging for the past few months. A little update, i have finish my exams and now i am going for clinical attachment. I gotta admit i am a little nervous, but at the same time, i am looking forward to it. Alright, time to blog about this awesome day.

Firstly, i gotta thank them for letting me tag along. After all, all of them are girls and i am the only guy. We went on the 17th of august. A sunny wednesday. We met up early in the morning, 9am at vivo city to have breakfast, before we took a bus ride into sentosa.

This is us... taking a photo when the bus came, what a "great" timing to take a photo. Well, some of their face got block or they didn't turn around, so yea, can't see their faces. During our mini-trip to adventure cove from vivo, many of us were playing Pokemon GO. We played on the bus, played when we were walking towards adventure cove. A few times we stopped walking to catch a pokemon. Hahahaha, sure it was irritating for those that are not playing Pokemon GO cause they need to wait for us to catch the pokemon before we can continue walking. I am sure some of you must have been in the same situation before. Pokemon GO is so hype that even grandmas are seen playing. Damn, but i gotta admit this game bonds people together. Ahh, i am going out of topic.

Back to track. Upon reaching adventure cove, everyone of us just went in as we bought the tickets online. Then we changed into the apparel that we intended to wear into the pool.

Theres 3 types of people among us.

First, the normal people - put right amount of sunblock.

Second, the overprotective kind of people - put an overload of sunblock until the skin becomes damn white that can scare the wits out of people.

Third, the "what is sunblock, can eat a not" kind of people - don't put sunblock at all.

Well, i was actually the 3rd kind of person, but then i got a little scared so i asked Yang Yi for sun block. However, i apply only like just a little bit cause i was lazy, so in the end the amount of sunblock i apply is just very minimal, equivalent to none so i have no idea why did i even waste that little amount of sunblock.

Then we place all our belongings into the huge locker that cost $20. Trust me, that locker is damn big, it can fit all 9 of our bags, so what do you think. Oh yea, by the way, the peeps who went with me were Amanda, yang yi, Nisa, Cindy, jia hui, Caroline, Denise and jia qi. Also, a warning to you guys, the floors are very rough, so your precious feet will probably be hurting after a while from walking around adventure cove. Thus, you gotta figure a way, i would suggest wearing your slippers to walk around and remove only when you going for the rides or attractions.

In the first picture, its the first attraction we went called the "Adventure River", also where we begin our adventure in adventure cove.

I want to thank Denise for bringing her waterproof camera, which is why i would have pictures to post. Ok, here are some pictures of us at the "Adventure River".

If i remember correctly, after the adventure river we went to Bluwater Bay, which is the pool with the huge waves. Ok, this is kinda fun with the waves come crashing. We kept getting pushed by the waves and had difficulty walking. Here is 2 photos at the Bluwater Bay. The first one is damn funny cause of yang yi. Yang yi wasn't suppose to be in the photo but she photobombed them. Just look at her photobombed skills, over level 10000. HAHAHAHA. None of them knew yang yi was behind until the photo was taken.

Then there is RainbowReef, which we get to snorkel!!!!!!! First time i am snorkelling. It was a very great experience but bad at the same time. Ok, firstly, the water was super duper cold. Secondly, the water got into my mouth. Water getting into my mouth doesn't sound that bad right, but then the water is damn salty, its like sea water. The mouthpiece was not very well attached to my mouth thus water could seep in.

However, the view was breathtaking. First snorkelling experience and i loved it. For some of my friends, it was very bad cause water got into their goggles and they couldn't see a single thing, then some swallowed like a few mouthful of the water. Alright, heres the first few photos of us while we were queuing, then the rest is taken by jia hui and Denise while they were snorkelling.

Can you spot who was missing totally in this photo??

After snorkelling, we went to the platform cliff jump. For this one, we will go up to a platform and jump down into the pool as if we are diving at the olympics, just that we are diving into the water legs first instead of head first. In the pictures, the height of the platform seems low, but when you are up there, its high.

There are a few rides and attractions that we did not went. Next time i go adventure cove, i will make sure i experience every single thing. The best ride gotta be riptide rocket. Trust me on this, its a MUST RIDE!! Its damn freaking fun that i would go like a 100 times but the queue is long. Riptide rocket is really like a roller coaster ride on water, which makes it super fun. I rode this with Amanda, and throughout the ride, we were screaming "NISA!!!!! YANG YI!!!!!" hoping they would hear us, but apparently, yang yi and Nisa couldn't hear us. Their ears were probably blocked by the water.

Andddddddddddddd our day at adventure cove ended with a group photo. From the smile on everyone's faces, i am sure they had a good time. Well, i surely did, adventure cove is not as bad as i thought. Thanks to them, that day was really well spent, had tons of fun. Oh yea, remember to put sunblock guys, cause i had sunburn all over my back and it was as red as tomato. Not exaggerating here, it was that bad. Can't wait till the next time when we all go out as a unit again!! -End of Blog-
