My Trip

Hey guys, i am back from the family trip to malaysia. Actually, i am back like 6 days ago. I tried to blog earlier, but my bro keep dragging to send me the photos that he took during the trip.

Now... about the trip.

I didn't elaborate which part of malaysia the last time. Ok, 1st i went to genting for 2 days, then went to kuala lumpur for 2 days. If there is anything i hate about the trip, its definitely the bus trip. Although there is game console, a tv to watch movies, and food, i can't take the 7 hours ride from Singapore to genting. Yeah, you heard me right, 7 HOURS!! Am i the only one who doesn't know it takes so long to reach genting?? The only thing i did in the 7 hours is sleep and eat.

I don't usually fall asleep, but when i do, its when there is tv and game console. You get me right??

But the graphics quality is not very good though. So, no point. I don't think i ever wanna go genting again. Unless with friends. You see, going on a bus trip with friends is like on a whole different level. So, in genting, the hotel room i got is very tiny. I can barely walk when i open up my luggage. I am sharing a room with my brother, and the last thing i need is to lock the bathroom doors. Well, theres no lock for the bathroom doors. My brother and i went 'wtf' when we realised that theres no lock.

1st time to genting btw. I think there used to be an amusement park, but it got closed down. So, we went to the snow world. Basically, you go into a huge room covered in fake snow, and just enjoy about half and hour inside the tremendous cold temperature. The worse has yet to come. You can't freaking take pictures with your phone!! Thats just preposterous!! Preposterous i say!!

We also went bowling. Well, the bowling at genting is very special compared to regular bowling. You know why?? Cause theres magic, sorcery, illusion. Just kidding, hahaha. Its special cause its a glow-in-the-dark bowling. The place is very dark with the walls and bowling pins glowing. If only the bowling balls glow too. I have some pictures of it below.

After 2 days in genting, next up, KL. The kuala lumpur experience is definitely better then the one in genting in my opinion. 1st of all, the room in KL is so much bigger with a living room, and a bathroom which there is a door for you to lock. Best thing of all is there is free wifi in the room. In the room, not lobby!! Most of the time in KL, we just eat, sleep and watched tv. Also a lot of use of the phone. I mean, how can i not, theres free wifi in the room. Thats about all for the trip to malaysia. Ok, now some pictures we took in malaysia. Just a few cause i don't want my whole post to be filled with like 20+ pictures.

On a serious note, i am sure all of you heard about the passing of Lee Kuan Yew. I am saddened to hear of the passing of Lee Kuan Yew, my country's first prime minister. The one who changed Singapore. A great man, a great leader. Here, i want to offer my deepest condolences to the Lee family. Without Lee Kuan Yew, i would not be able to blog here, i would not be able watch soccer matches, i would not be able to go school and meet so many of my awesome friends, i also would not to be able to... gahh, you know what i mean. R.I.P Mr Lee Kuan Yew.

Best Ever!!

Hey guys, just fyi, i have quit jack's place already. I quit because i want to go work with sherman and the rest. But end up, i didn't get the job. So, i quit for nothing. I could go back to jack's place, but its fine, school is starting pretty soon anyway. Basically, now im just enjoying life at home. I do go out of course.

Just wednesday, i went out with Chun Min, Declan, Nicolus, Alaric and Randall. Can you guess what we did?? Yea, thats right, we went to kick some soccer balls. If you have a good memory, it was raining that afternoon. We played under the rain. It wasn't very heavy, so we just play. Playing soccer under the rain is surely a different experience for me. The ball is harder to control and i can barely run fast as the ground is wet. However, the rain could not stop us from having fun. We also laughed very hard, especially when I slip and fell down. Oh, and at one point, Randall tried to kick the ball by jumping and doing a front kick. Randall's stance was so funny that Declan laughed until he couldn't concentrate on the game and had to sit down laughing. It was very hilarious, i laughed pretty hard too. My stomach did hurt awhile from laughing. Ouch~

After playing a few matches, it started to pour heavily. So, we went to the nearest shelter. While we were waiting for the rain to die down, Randall started to play some mind games with us. At first we got annoyed and thought he has gone cray. But after a few mind games, things became very interesting and we all got mind blown. If you don't know whats a mind game, i really don't know how to explain to you. I tried 'Google', but they just show me some online games that requires the use of the brain. After all the mind games, i went home as it was getting late.

Ok, Chinese New Year went pass about a week ago. If you do read my blog since i started blogging, you should know that chinese new year to me is always the same routine, visit relatives and stuff. BUT, this year is very different. Because i am much older now, my parents allow me to visit my friends to 'Bai Nian'. I know you people can already do this at a young age. Stop bragging. :p

So, this year, during the CNY period, i visited quite a few friends. 1st, i visited clara together with wei cheng, kheng woo and huam. I also visited randall, together with a lot of friends(too much to named). We even had dinner together at randall's house. After the dinner, we even gamble with randall's dad. Hahahaha. Lastly, i also visited Chun min and Rue Hong's house(they lived in the same block). Basically, I gambled at every house i went(except clara's). Gambling is not something good, i know that, but its CNY!! Not sure how or why, during CNY, everyone will have the mentality to gamble. But once CNY is over, none of us would gamble or even think about gambling.

Usually, adults will be playing mahjong on the table, and the teens will be playing cards on the ground. Thats what i always see, not sure about you guys. While we are on the topic of gambling... this year, i have learned a few other card games like 'Texas Poker' and 'In Between'. Most people only knows 'Black Jack'. So now, i know how to play a variety of card games. Yay!! Well, i hope that next year during CNY, i will still be invited to their house. This year's CNY is really the best.

Ok, this post is coming to an end. Just wanna say, i am going Malaysia from the 15 of march to the 19 of march. Not to visit any relatives, just relaxing over there and shop for some stuffs. Hmm, if there is something worth buying, i will surely buy some things for my friends. Just a few of my friends though, my dad wouldn't allow me to spend so much. Ok, thats all.
