ILLUMI RUN 2K15

Thats right, i am gonna talk about illumi run today. If you do not know what is illumi run, its basically a kind of night party run which you will get splashed with neon glow water. You run along a given route and get sprayed all over.

I went to illumi run together with the taugeys (except chee yin). She couldn't come with us due to some reasons. Its the first time any of the taugeys went for such an event, which is why we gave it a shot. The event was held on the 28 November. I was already extremely excited like 2 days before the event. Cause i never thought that i would go for such a thing, i am sure you are also shocked. Even now, i still can't believe i went to illumi run.

So... in the afternoon of 28 november, everyone went to Dion's house to keep our bags there as we planned to stay over at her house after the run. If i remember correctly, around 3pm+, we left Dion's house and headed to NEX for a super late lunch. That was when i got to know a new friend. Her name is Cherylene, a classmate of Vivian. She joined us for lunch and eventually we ran together too. She is kinda friendly and she can really socialise well. The taugeys, except Viv, barely knew her. But we got along very quickly, we started talking quite a lot.

After lunch, we headed to the venue which illumi run was held. We were kinda early, so we just sat down at one area and started talking. We had lots of laugh, we somehow can just keep talking and involving Cherylene though its the first time we got to know her. Also, we took some pre-illumi photos. We took a lot but i will just post a few.

When the time for the run got closer, we went to store our bags at the baggage area. Afterwards, we were pretty lost, we have no idea where is the starting line, so we just wander around. We found ourselves at the area where you get light sticks. However, you can't just get the light stick as you wish. There is a stage and at the bottom of the stage is a big crowd, so you gotta squeeze through to the front and hope the "illumi run helper", who are on top of the stage, will throw the light stick at you. You can imagine everyone screaming "THROW HERE!!". At that point of time, music were already blasting and glow water have started to be splashed all over. 

Finally after awhile, everyone of us got a light stick. Though we got the light stick, we were covered with glow water all over our face. We laughed at how horrible our faces look, i think hong shen was the worst because he was wearing his spectacles and his whole lens is covered with glow water that he could barely see anything. We then continued on our adventure to find the starting line. Eventually we did landed on the starting line, the run started and ironically, we WALK during illumi RUN. Many people aren't running too. My friends and I just walk casually, enjoying the scenery and the music. Along the route, there are tunnels with ultra-violet lights that makes the neon glow water illuminates in the dark. Which equivalent to our body glowing in the dark, its damn cool. 

We took quite a number of photos along the route to the finish line. This is probably one of the few times i was acting all crazy. Theres a few times i kept jumping/dancing to the music and kept singing when i knew the lyrics of the song being played. Not sure if my friends thinks i am crazy, haha. One of the things i couldn't forgot about the run is the refreshment area. There is this refreshment area along the route. Cups containing plain water or 100plus is placed on top of long stretches of tables. So, you can take as many cups as you want. But the best part is, after finishing your drink, you can just throw the cup on the floor. Thus, as i walk pass the long stretch of tables, i drank one cup, threw it with swag, and just take another one. Total i drank about 6+ cups of drinks.

Theres a party at the end of the finish line. But after my friends and I reached the finish line, we sat down in a circle at an empty space and rest for awhile. If i am not wrong, the route is 5km. These means we have walked a distance of 5km. We are quite shocked our legs wasn't hurting that much cause usually during PE, we ran 2.4km until want collapse already. After resting for awhile, we got up and join the party. Obviously, theres a huge crowd around the stage where the DJs were. We tried squeezing in and slowly, we went deeper into the crowd. Music were blasting, everyone raising their arms and sometimes singing along to those popular songs being played. 

The craziest part is when EDM songs/music were being played. Once the bass drop, everyone jump like crazy. Of course, i jump along. Really enjoyed the party, the feeling is indescribable, all i can say is AWESOME!! However, after awhile, we sweat like mad as it was very hot. Thus, we squeeze out of the crowd. Its definitely a night to remember. Once again, theres a lot of photos but i shall just post a few...

Illumi Run was a great experience, no regrets going. It wouldn't be fun without my friends. So right here, i wanna say to the 3 taugeys and Cherylene, THANKS FOR THE AWESOME NIGHT!! Love you all.

After illumi run, we took the train back to Dion's house and said farewell to Cherylene. You could have guessed it, everyone in the train was staring at us. When we reached Dion's house, its already super late. All of us quickly have a refreshing shower before we headed to macdonald for our 1am+ dinner. Our plan after dinner was to stay up and chat until morning. But the two girls were so tired that at around 4am, their ears blocked off what hong shen and i was saying. In the end, we went to sleep. Poor hong shen and I have no bed nor mattress to sleep on, so we suffered quite a little. Hong shen suffered more for sure cause he was on the cold hard floor. 

Its my first time staying over at my friend's house. Just for your information, i did not feel homesick. It is a little weird at first but i like the feeling of not having to worry what time it is. Usually, i will keep checking the time so that i will know when i need to start heading home. I feel carefree that night. Its also pretty fun staying over at a friend's house, some unglam or gay thing is bound to happen. One of the best night in my life for sure. -End of Blog-

Happenings in Taugeys

If you did notice, taugey used to have 6 people including me. But now, it have became 5. (Just in case you are new here, "taugey" is a clique that i am in. Consist of me, Dion, chee yin, Vivian and hong shen.)

For those who do read my blog, you will be wondering, "where is wei cheng?? I thought he is in taugey??". Yeah, he used to, but not anymore. So, i am here to reveal the inside news of what happen. Here goes...

Ok, so one fine day in the taugey whatsapp group, we were discussing on going out and what date are we all free. Suddenly in the middle of nowhere, wei cheng left the group. Everyone was naturally shocked. But the funny thing that i didn't expect is that the taugeys were not very anxious about why wei cheng left. They of course asked me what happened. I have no idea what happen as wei cheng didn't reply my messages and he left the whatsapp group without a word. So after like 2 minutes, we just continued on discuss on meeting up. I was super shock that the taugeys didn't really care much about wei cheng. Dion even said "i expected him to leave".

Since wei cheng left without a word and blue tick my messages, i couldn't care less that wei cheng left taugey. Gradually, we forgot about the existence of wei cheng. At that point of time, wei cheng was also mad at me for reasons that he refuses to tell me. So i wasn't in contact with wei cheng. I know i know, he was my bestfriend, but i doubt that he regard me as his bestfriend. Therefore, the taugeys moved on without wei cheng. To be honest, taugey is still awesome without wei cheng or maybe its more awesome now. Luckily, we got the "taugey wrist band" after wei cheng left. The wrist band symbolise our clique and we have a rule which is you have to keep wearing it, once caught without the wrist band, you are considered out of the group. We are pretty lame but at the same time cool, aren't we?!? HAHAHA.

Everything was pretty normal until one day i tweeted about chun mun. (chun mun is my classmate) Chun mun was saying how bad i was at league of legends in a skype conversation. Its not the first time he said things like that, he even said many nasty things about me, so i just tweeted that i am better than him cause my rank is above his. Basically, i talk bad about him. Then a twitter war happened. Out of nowhere, wei cheng pop out on twitter and said that he is not gonna see me as a friend if i can't respect people. Inside me, i am thinking... "HAH!! WHAT A JOKE!! YOU SOMETIMES DON'T EVEN RESPECT OTHERS". Moreover, chun mun didn't even respect me, so why should i respect someone who doesn't respect me. Chun mun can talk bad about me and i can't talk bad about him?!?!?! WHAT A PREPOSTEROUS BULLSH*T.

At the end of the twitter war, wei cheng also told me that he left taugey because of me. When Vivian knew about the twitter war, Viv went to screenshot and showed the rest of the taugeys. I was initially very worried that the taugeys would blame me for the departure of wei cheng. But instead, they were kinda mad with wei cheng, especially Viv and Dion. Those 2 girls... Haha. Viv actually wanted to reply to wei cheng's tweet and scold him but she get to know about the twitter war pretty late so its gonna be weird if she suddenly reply. However, i am so damn touched when the taugeys said "wei cheng doesn't want to hang out with taugeys because of Delvin, but we don't wanna hang out with wei cheng because of Delvin.". I am so moved that tears of joy almost came out.

Thus now, wei cheng and I are having a conflict but i can't be bothered about it. He is so reluctant to even listen to me, how can i even communicate with him. Oh well, i already have wonderful friends. Two weeks ago, i have an outreach day for my course. I am suppose to bring my parents or friends, so i invited the taugeys. Ended up only Viv and Dion could made it. However, i felt so important when they took cab to my school just for me!! They were late, but could have just took the train and just apologise to me later. Instead, they took a cab. I am just like "WOW, for this outreach programme, you took the cab!?!?". Thus, all the current taugeys are the ones i need to cherish. Not wei cheng anymore. Just like what Dion said, wei cheng is not worth to be in taugey.

Anyways, i have lots of other great friends, i have my poly friends, got "gai bang", got my soccer friends, got my secondary school friends, even my primary school friends. Thats right, i am still in contact with my primary school friend. Why do i still need wei cheng, he don't even side his bestfriend, or was i even his bestfriend? To think i was anxious when he left taugey. So yeah, thats what happen to taugey. Therefore, wei cheng, if you are reading this, WE DON'T NEED YOU.

Braces On

Thats right!! I have already put on braces. I have waited pretty long for it. Finally the day came. I put on my braces a week ago. Yeah, 7 days with that tissue destroyer. The brackets have rub and cause ulcers in my mouth so i call it the tissue destroyer. But i have no choice, gotta endure it man. Another 2 years with the tissue destroyer. It hurts a lot cause it will keep touching my ulcer. Boo-hoo...

First thing i worried about when i put on the braces is that my teeth will become sore as they starts to move. Thankfully, my dentist didn't made it very tight, so i could endure and get use to the braces. However, the next visit will most probably cause me tons of pain. Think i gotta get a giant soft toy so i can hug and scream at it whenever i am in pain.

I met Alysa at NDC (National Dental Centre) last week, and she had a 1 year plus experience with braces, so she told me the first 3 days for her was horrible and she couldn't eat due to the pain. For me, its about the same, when i chew on food, it hurts. Now, its ok, i can eat anything. Alysa also told me that i am lucky i am not a girl cause if a girl is on her period, and she just tighten her braces... Yeah, you can imagine the pain.

Second thing i worried about is brushing. Its really tough to brush your teeth with the brackets obstructing. You have to get a cute tiny brush to clean between the wires. Overall, it takes about 10 minutes just for me to brush my teeth. How long do you guys normally brush your teeth?? Did it even reach 5 minutes. I know you want to finish brushing before the TV advertisement end so you won't miss your TV show, but oral health is more important than the show.

Oh ya, for my braces, i face the dilemma of whether i should choose lime or pink for my brackets. Well, you see i have a dark skin tone, so i gotta choose a bright striking colour. In the end, i chose to go for lime. When i told my dentist i want lime, the assistant dentist was like "Wahh first day choose lime already!!". She also said that lime is a great colour and it would be very bright when i smile.

Anyways, for everyone without braces, you gotta appreciate having great teeth. Cause braces is a pain in the ass. Food get stuck and everything, its really troublesome. It might seem fun and cool to have braces but i believe everyone who had braces on would beg to differ. -End of Blog-

Bonding day

Last friday was bonding day. Its like a compulsory thing for my course. Well, even if it isn't compulsory, i would still go. Basically, bonding day means my class will have to have meet up and bond, its my course way of bonding our class together.

So, we decided on having picnic at ecp (east coast park). Everyone will then bring some food to share with everyone. For me and a few other friends, we bought KFC family feast. Some ordered pizza, some brought hotdogs, chips, swiss roll, salad and drinks. We ate and talked about random shit, then slowly some of us started to head towards the beach to play with the sand and stuff. After some time, we were wondering why the pizzas haven't arrived yet. It was really preposterous of domino pizza. First of all, they delivered late. Secondly, the delivery guy went to the wrong area and said that he doesn't know how to go to the area we were at. Thus, Shaikh and Vicky have to go find the delivery guy and get the pizza. 

Finally the pizzas came and everyone quickly took a slice and ate it with a smile on our faces. Its PIZZA, anyone would smile eating it. Agree?? Hahaha. Shortly after finishing the pizza, many people started to leave. Most of them are meeting their parents to have dinner or something like that, so they got to go. Remaining were jing wen, Ethel, Cindy, shu yi, Vicky, Cheryl chew, Denise and jia qi. We were quite bored so some of us headed to the beach to fly the kite that Cindy bought. Surprisingly, it was very fun. As the sun starts to go down, Vicky, shu yi and jia qi left. 

The remaining just sat down and we were having a pretty funny conversation until a huge beetle disrupted us. Denise and Ethel were screaming then ran far away from it. It was hilarious but scary at the same time cause that beetle was really huge. So we packed up and shoved to another area. We then realised we had 4 bottles of 1.5L drink left. To finish the drinks, we played "Never Have I Ever". After that game, we found out quite a few things we never knew about each other, and also a full bladder. As it was getting late, we stopped playing and went back home. We didn't finish the drinks so i brought home one full bottle. Overall, it was a fun day for me.

By the way, today is Dion's birthday. So right here, i wanna say HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAUGEY BAY!!!!! 

For this girl's birthday, the taugeys went to causeway point and celebrate her birthday in advance at "shabu sai". Its my first time there and i must say, its a pretty good restaurant. Its a steamboat restaurant. The food were palatable. We ordered like 30 stacks of meat because its buffet. I am not sure how but we can cook until the meat become burnt and you can smell the "chao da" smell. Hahaha. 

Seriously though, my hair is grotesque.

After lunch, we sat in a corner at level 5 of causeway point, sing the happy birthday song and handed our birthday presents to Dion. She was saying why i didn't give her a birthday card, so yeah, next year, i will definitely make her a birthday card for her. I will most probably ask jing wen for advice. Have any of you seen the birthday cards that jing wen made before?? She is really talented at this kind of stuff. Anyways, enjoy your birthday Dion!! Though you spam photos of yourself in whatsapp, i will forgive you since its your birthday.

The Feels

One more week to go!! One last week of exams before the vacation. Can't wait for it man!! This week is study week and i am trying to concentrate on studying, in hope to ace the remaining 4 exam papers.

Today, i just wanna blog about what i did on wednesday and thursday. Well, i wanna take a break from studying, so i went cycling with yong lok, chin seng, Chloe and Deanna on wednesday. Hey, i know we are suppose to study during study week but i need a break. Im only human~ 

Our target was to cycle 30km and we also decided to rent bicycle at east coast park (ecp). We met with a problem while we were trying to go ecp, we went to the wrong mrt station. We arranged to meet at tampines mrt, thinking that there is a bus there which will head towards ecp. Well, there is a bus heading to ecp, but we have to endure about 20+ bus stops. As we didn't wanna waste time travelling by mrt, so we just took the bus from tampines which we all suffered for 20+ bus stop. Throughout the bus ride, we kinda lost the interest to cycle and became sleepy. Hahaha.

Still, we reached ecp and cycled. The guys all cycled like mad with our goal in mind while the girls cycled slower. Damn the upslope man, my thighs hurt so badly when i cycled up the slope. But downslope was super fun, you do not need to pedal and you will move at incredible speed. Eventually, the guys stopped for water break while we waited for the girls to catch up. Once they did, everyone pedalled at a constant and relaxing speed. At that point, we have already cycled away from ecp and we have reach marina barrage. I didn't know that ecp was actually so near to marina bay.

We ride up another damn slope to reach the top of marina barrage (the place with lots of grass and people flying kites). Its just really beautiful up there. we stayed there for awhile before we continue our journey. We eventually cycled past the ArtScience museum. I have never went into the museum before though, maybe one day i will visit it. Its been awhile since i go marina bay and i don't know why but when cycling along marina bay, i find marina bay to be extremely beautiful. It was breathtaking. We then took a U-turn and went back to ecp so that we will be able to return our bicycle on time. I am so glad that my calf and thigh muscle didn't hurt the next day. I certainly enjoyed myself that day.

On thursday, Cindy, Cheryl, jing wen and I planned to go to a friend's house to study. Yes, we did go to our friend's house with the mindset of studying. But things did not turn out how we wanted...

First of all, we reached our friend's house later than we planned. When we entered our friend's house, we first went into the kitchen to look at our friend's pet rabbit. I forgot the rabbit's name but her rabbit was huge, larger than usual rabbits. Then we sat down on the sofa for awhile before our friend's house tour. After admiring our friend's house, we sat on the sofa again and start chatting. We even questioned the motive of us going our friend's house.

We thought we would study, but we were wrong. We ended up playing "Fun Run 2". Hahahahahaha. I know its a lame game to you guys, but its actually pretty fun when you play with friends. After quite a lot of rounds of "Fun Run 2", we remembered our objective of going to our friend's house. All of us sat on our friend's dining table, took out our laptops and started studying. 30 minutes past and we started to discussed about our dinner. We were considering delivery or cooking our own dinner. Since Cindy and I were once Food & Nutrition students, and our friend knows how to cook, we decide to make our own dinner.

Yeah, so we stopped studying and headed towards the nearest supermarket to get some ingredients. When we got back to our friend's house, we started to prepare the food and get cooking. Basically, Cindy, my friend and I were cooking while jing wen and Cheryl were observing and helping out by clearing the dining table. Sadly, i didn't take photos of the dishes we made. The cooking process was quite interesting and fun. Thankfully our friend's kitchen didn't explode. The food were edible, not a disaster, and it all tasted nice, except the sausage which was kinda salty.

To sum up, we made 四菜一汤. The first dish was some vegetable dish made by our friend. I didn't know what vegetable that was but it tasted quite nice, so i just ate it.

Second dish was eggs with spring onions. Cindy was the main chef frying the egg, while i was the assistant chef, helping her. This was a pretty good dish that i am gonna cook it for my own lunch next time.

Third dish was sausage with tomato sauce. Gosh, this dish was really salty, but luckily we didn't made a lot of it and were able to finish it.

Fourth dish was a weird one. Let me evaluate for you. So, we bought chicken fillet, slice it into cubes. Then our friend marinate it with pepper, salt, cornstarch. Cindy's and my mandible dropped when we saw cornstarch added to the meat. Cindy composed herself then asked me how we should cook the meat, and we eventually decided to stir-fry the meat. As for the sauce, i suggested oyster sauce. So yeah, we proceeded with it. We fry the meat with oyster sauce and some water as it was dry. Turns out that the corn starch was a bad idea as it absorbs the water. So the meat was very dry even though we added a lot of water. At that time, jing wen saw us in crisis, so she asked us to add barbecue sauce. In the end, the dish was "sliced chicken fillet with cornstarch, oyster sauce & barbecue sauce.". The dish looks like raw chicken meat, no kidding, but its kinda delicious.

Lastly, the soup. Its just a regular soup base with crab sticks, mushrooms, meatballs, carrots and tofu.

One of the best dinner ever. I mean, come on, eating and cooking dinner with your friends, how cool is that. HOME-COOKED FOOD ARE THE BEST!! The atmosphere just feels like i was eating dinner with my family.

So, we finished dinner and we studied for a bit before we went home. Lucky for my friend, she's already home. In the end, our initial plan failed miserably, but I had quite a lot of fun. Most importantly, even though I didn't study much, it just feels like i didn't wasted my day at all. The experience i had with them that day was awesome and most probably will stick in my mind forever. However, i now know that no matter what, we cannot study as a group. But if we wanna have fun, of course we can!! Hehe. Ok, thats all, i gotta study now. -End of Blog-

Can the holidays come faster?!?!

Hey guys!! Finally i found time to blog, and something to blog about. Well, all the important exams and tests are coming soon, and about another month or less, there will be a huge holiday coming. Yay!! However, i have a lot of clinical education going on during the holidays. Thats because my course is like that. My secondary friends were all shock at how much time of my holiday will be eaten up by school. But its alright, i will still find time to enjoy my holiday.

Hopefully my secondary 2 class, 2 Everest, will be have a gathering during the holiday. I miss most of them. Even if i got clinical on the day we are suppose to have a gathering, i will still go for the gathering, but of course i will go after my clinical, which is during the evening. 2 Everest is one of the best class i have ever been in. Its humour everyday. Ahh~ Those fun times!! All those memories...

Also, not to forget my secondary 4 class, 4 Everest. Just to note, most of my secondary 2 classmates split classes, so yeah, its 2 different class with mostly different classmates. 4 Everest was great too, just that 2 Everest was more crazy. I am not really sure if 4 Everest can pull off a gathering, cause we tried once during the poly 2 week break, but it failed cause many people are too busy. I want an outing with 4 Everest though, i mean, we went through O'levels together. Oh, and PE lessons with 4 Everest was always hella fun, especially when we played floorball.

I also hope that i can have an outing with my Poly friends. Because my class is filled with girls, Shaikh and I sometimes find it really awkward. But now class have become better. Most girls have start to open up and treat me like a girl. Ok, that came out wrong. I meant treating me like a friend, like someone who is comfortable to talk with. I don't mind just a handful of us going out to watch a movie, play basketball, go sing karaoke, or just a plain dinner. I believe being in DHT course, we should really have fun while we can. Seriously, some of my course mates are really fun to hang out with. Of course not to forget my seniors. I like that in my course, the juniors are somewhat close with the seniors. Or maybe its just me. Anyways, my friends in other courses are all not close with their seniors, they barely know the seniors name. So, i felt really lucky.

6 days ago, i had another mini dinner reunion with my Taugeys!!!! This time it is to celebrate Vivian's birthday. We celebrated one day before her actual birthday though. We could only have a dinner gathering because we were all busy with school work and projects. During the holidays, i would definitely want to go out and have an enjoyable time with the Taugeys. So yeah, we celebrated Viv's birthday, it was a hassle because all the taugeys are studying in different school. ("Taugeys" refers to Dion, chee yin, Vivian, hong shen, wei cheng and I)

We have to first decide which date we are available, so in the end we chose to celebrate one day before Viv's actual birthday. However, wei cheng couldn't make it as he got tons of projects and assignments to do, no matter which date we chose, he wouldn't be able to make it. So we went ahead without him. Then the location was a problem, cause we have to make sure it wasn't too far for anyone. We kept changing locations, from airport to vivo to orchard, back to airport, then to orchard again. But at the last minute, we decided to eat at causeway point. Well, Dion was sick on that day, and if we want her to be present for the celebration, we have to select somewhere close to Dion's house, so causeway point was the final location we decided on.

This time no birthday surprises as Viv will probably expects it anyway. So we just celebrate her birthday and have dinner together. Oh, i forgot to mention, we ate at paradise dynasty. I ordered Zha Jiang Mian, and its delicious. But its spicy that my eyes turned watery. I don't even need a drink when i eat mc spicy, but tears freaking came out of my eyes when i ate a bowl of noodles. The worst is that Dion is not fully recovered yet but she ordered the zha jiang mian, which is spicy. She couldn't finish even half the bowl, so she just "da bao" the noodles home. I think that noodles went right into the thrash after she reached home. Haha.

For the birthday cake, we bought from icing room again because icing room is the only shop we know that sells 4 inch size cake. I am the only one that design the cake though, thats because everyone ended late on that day. I ended slightly earlier so i went to decorate the cake on my own. Rate my cake decorating skills!! Thats a minion by the way. Better than cheryl chew's minion right?? HAHAHA, my poly friends should get the joke.

After finishing our food, we were full, but theres still the cake which we haven eaten. When the taugeys saw the cake, they are like "wow, not bad". I felt that i decorated the cake pretty well too cause a little girl was watching me decorate the cake, and she was telling her grandmother "That KorKor do the cake very nice!!". Moreover, children are honest. Aha, theres the recognition.

We then sang the birthday song to Viv before she make a wish. Seriously, i always wonder what people wish for, don't you get curious?? Moving on... hong shen and i then use burst mode to spam photos of Viv cutting the cake, we took total about 100+ photos of Viv trying to cut the cake. Funny thing is we using Viv's phone to take photos. HAHAHAHA sorry Viv, you will have to browse through the 100+ photos, selecting those that you wanna keep. Next time we won't use burst mode anymore.

After dinner, we walked around causeway point aimlessly. We just chat about random stuffs while walking around. Then it came to our mind that we haven take a group photo yet. So we eventually reach the 1st level, and there is this huge open space filled with cars that are going on sale. I wanted to take a group photo inside a displayed car. After photo taking session, we headed home. It wasn't actually very late but we have school the next day. Fun time catching up with my taugeys!! Love them!! During our next meeting, whether is celebrating another taugey(Dion)'s birthday or taugey outing, everyone must be present ahh!! The Friends I Miss The Most

Hey guys!! Holiday is over. (cries~)

Its been a week since the holiday is over. Had a lot of tests last week. Managed to survive it as most of the tests are multiple choice questions. Still have a few more test heading my way this week. So far, everything in school is fine. Just need something to make my life more fun. I am considering joining a CCA. Maybe i will join volleyball. Volleyball is really fun to me, i didn't join it earlier as i wanted to join a different CCA from my secondary school. But during my poly CCA carnival, nothing really entice me, so i end up didn't join any CCA. But now, i feel like joining a CCA. Still considering what CCA to join, but volleyball is one of my choices. Maybe Taekwondo?! Not to brag, but i have never failed a single taekwondo grading before. I am a Red Belt with black tip. Could have become a black belt, but i need to pay $100 for the grading, so i didn't went for the black belt grading. I am sure if i go for the grading, i would pass. Haha, it totally sounds like i am bragging.

Last week, I spent some time with my secondary friends. They are what my teacher said, one of the most important friends you will ever made. Not saying that my primary school friends aren't important though. Haha.

Last thursday, i went out with wei cheng, hong shen, Dion, Vivian and chee yin. First of all, to celebrate chee yin's belated birthday. Secondly, to have a mini gathering of friends. I am exuberant to see all of them last thursday. In poly, i spent so much time in a class full of gurls that my friend wondered if i have turned into a girl. HAHAHAHA. Ok, now, i will tell you the Behind-The-Scenes of operation 'celebrate chee yin's birthday'.

Firstly, we created a whatsapp group without chee yin in it of course. Then we discuss our plans inside the group. Eventually, we decided to go to 'Icing Room' to decorate our own cake. We also went to NEX earlier so that we have time to decorate the cake. Here is the result of the cake.

Then, we have another whatsapp group with chee yin in it. We told chee yin that we are just having a regular dinner gathering at NEX. We lied to her that we are gonna be late. Also, we asked her to queue for 'Eighteen Chefs' as we are having our dinner there.

When we finish decorating the cake, all the boys went to eighteen chef to meet up with chee yin while the girls wait for my call. When we got a table, i called Vivian and Dion to go to eighteen chefs with the cake. Wei cheng and i keep talking to chee yin as we wanted to stall time for the girls to prepare the candle. Hong shen even have to give the excuse of 'going to the toilet' to help out the girls. Finally, the big moment. Everyone walked in with Vivian holding the cake. Then, we sang Happy Birthday. I can see that chee yin was astounded and euphoric. Then we handed her our birthday gifts. Quickly, we ordered our food as we were famished. Then we took tons of pictures as well as letting chee yin make a wish before blowing out the candles. We chat as we eat, we laughed a lot and had a really fun time. We even made a name for our clique. Its call Team Taugey.

Well, i was really happy that i get to see my friends again. I miss them so much. If any of you taugeys are seeing this, lets meet up soon!! Just a regular dinner will suffice. #teamtaugeyorgay

Oh and i wanna talk a bit about my visit to Dion's house. Well, on the day we celebrating chee yin's birthday, i ended school early, so i went to Dion's house as she lived near Admiralty MRT station. My school is near admiralty, so i pay her a visit. She has a pet dog, and her name is Cookie. She was a tiny monster!! When i enter her house, i sat on the sofa. Suddenly, Cookie came running towards me and bit me on the hand. Ouch!! Afterwards, it kept barking. Finally, when she calm down, i began touching her, making her feel comfortable, letting her know that i am not a robber. She did stop barking, but she was acting all weird, she kept looking at my socks and salivate on my socks. Its super gross.

Then Dion just sat at the sofa laughing at my misfortune. Hahaha. She did tried to help me, but to no avail. No choice, the dog has a fetish for socks. Well, luckily the amount of saliva wasn't a lot. Heres an advice for people going to Dion's house, wear long pants at all cost, preferable jeans. Thats because Cookie will bite your thigh or legs when you enter the house. Still, i would like to go Dion's house again, and hopefully Cookie will recognise me and not bite my precious flesh. I know i am tasty.

I went from Punggol all the way to JCube to ice skate!! Haha. It was my first time ice skating. Yeah, you should expect me to fall down. And i did, i fell a couple of times, i think 5-6 times. One thing we didn't do is to take photos inside The Rink. We regret, but its alright. Its the memories and fun we had together that is more important. It was really fun. Though i fell, i learned how to skate-ish. I don't think i am skating correctly, but hey, i moved. There are quite a lot of embarrassing moment for me. There are a few moments where i am close to falling, so i held onto the person next to me. Doesn't matter who that person is, i would hold onto them for support when i am about to fall. I have held onto a young child, an elderly, an auntie, adult males, adult females, teenage girls. It was really embarrassing for me, especially when i held onto females. You know, they might think i am trying to touch them...

Oh, and Dion, if you are seeing this, i am sorry, cause i almost made you fall when i grab hold of you. I also wanna thanks Daryl for teaching me how to ice skate. You are the main reason why i could move around. Else, i might just keep holding onto the wall. Also i wanna thanks those who gave me tips on ice skating. Ice skating was fun. I would go back there, someday...

The Class Filled With Gurls, & 2 Guys

Hey everyone!! Finally a break from studying. It has been pretty intense for the one and a half month in Poly. So... yay, holiday!! Hehe~

This time, i am not going to spend my holiday by playing League Of Legends. Its just a 2 weeks holiday, how much games can i play anyway. Moreover, need study during the holiday as theres a ton of tests right after my holiday. Thats the sad part. So i need to like plan out which day i am gonna fork out to study.

Ok, lets not talk about studies.

Hmm... my holiday is kinda pack for the first week. I have bootcamp on monday and tuesday. Swimming with year 2 seniors and shaikh on wednesday. Sorry if any of my classmates are seeing this. You gurls will be saying i 'bojio', but sorry, only males. If want, next time the whole DHT Year 1 class go swimming together!! Ok? Haha!! Thursday is my only free day, anyone going out must 'jio' me ok?!?!?! Call me maybe?? Whether you are my secondary or poly friend, it doesn't matter, just give me a call. On friday, i am most probably playing soccer with my friends. But its on the afternoon, so can call me out at night. I am likely to be free on saturday, so call me out too!!

Sunday i am going to have BBQ with the whole DHT, including Year 2 and Year 3. Though some people not going, i am sure it will be fun!! I am pretty excited for this, there will be loads of FOOD!! Food are the 2nd best thing that ever existed. Know whats the 1st?? ME!!!!!!! Hahahaha, just playing, just playing. But i am at least top 10. Hehe~

After 1 and a half month of bonding with my class, things have been pretty good for me. My class is really awesome, they can make me laugh really hard sometimes. Just that, sigh, only two boys in my class. So, i can't really talk about anything i used to always talk about when i was in secondary school. Back when i was in secondary school, i hang out with boys a lot, so we talk about games, silly & funny youtube videos, and sometimes we would talk dirty. These are possible with a few guys around, when theres just 2 guys, it would get a little creepy. The other guy in my class, his name is shaikh, and sadly he don't game. He only play game console. It is a form of gaming, but i play computer games more.

Also, some girls in my class have this wrong perception of me. They say that i can't keep secrets and i will spill the beans very easily. But no, i am not like that, i have pretty tight lips. If whatever i heard is sensitive or a personal secret, i will really keep it to myself. Well, shaikh have told me secrets he didn't want people to know, and i believe that nobody has heard from me any secrets related to shaikh.

Oh oh oh, and theres this thing, whenever my classmates are talking about something and i am in range, i would try to listen and give my opinions. Then, my friends would say i very 'kay-po'. Ok, i admit sometimes i am being a 'kay-po'. But thats because i wanted to bond and interact with my classmates, i am trying to fit in you know. 2 males and 22 females, its hard for me man. Just hope that my classmates won't find me a nuisance. If they do find me annoying, i guess i will have to change the way i do things.

My class is split into a few clique, so i sometimes hang out with one clique, sometimes another. The girls all have their own clique, then shaikh and i are just drifting all around. I was hoping that one day, the whole class is one clique, instead of separate clique. Hopefully, one day, the whole class will have lunch together. Literally everyone, not missing out Nisa's clique. Got to know them a little more due to today's bootcamp, they are actually pretty fun to hang out with.

Getting Closer

Hey everyone!! As all of you know, i am in poly now. Studying the course DHT(Dental Hygiene & Therapy).So far, my course have been pretty tough, lots of things to remember and stuff like that.

Most of my friends entered courses that have really relaxed schedule. For example, their lecture starts at 8am and ends at like 11am or 12pm. Mine is like start at 9am and ends at 5pm or 6pm. However, sometimes school ends at 3pm. Well, i selected DHT knowing that i will have to go through all these hardship, so what i can say is 'Good Luck to Me!!'.

School isn't that bad anyway. Though things sometimes do get boring, i do learn many things everyday. Literally, i learn many things everyday, the lecturers just keep pouring knowledge into us. Even when our heads are full, they just keep going on and on and on. The only way to manage is to revise at home everyday.

There is one best thing about school and i am sure you guys would know what is it. If you are thinking 'Food', sorry, its not. Even though the food in school is scrumptious, its not food, its FRIENDS!! Remember i said i made some friends during orientation and we are going to become closer. About that... we are not that close yet. Indeed, during the 1st few weeks of school, I got close to some. They are girls, so somehow i will still get awkward in front of them. But, i manage to talk casually to most of them now. I am glad that the girls in my class are friendly and are willing to talk to me. The group of girls i am closest to is most probably Caroline's group, in the group theres also Cindy, Denise and Jia Hui.

You might ask, why them?? Well, there's this period of time which i keep hanging out with them after school, we even went to watch 'Avengers : Age of Ultron' together. However, i have been getting closer to Ethel, Alysa, Raina, Joyce, Jia Qi, Nisa, Sharmaine, Vicky... ok, actually almost the whole class. Except a few whom i need to speak more with. Anyway, i was thinking that i might end up having a girl bestfriend. Haha.

You must be quite confuse now because all you see is a bunch of girls name. I am lazy to introduce every single one of them to you guys, so all you need to know is that these girls exist. The girl that impressed me the most is Vicky. 1st of all, she watch soccer matches(i think). Its rare to know girls that watch soccer matches. Although i have a few secondary female friends that do watch soccer. 2nd of all, she supports Liverpool!!!!!!

What are the chances man, to have a girl friend that watch soccer and support the same team as you. By the way, i left a space between 'girl' and 'friend' on purpose. She is not my girlfriend. Since we are on the topic of soccer, i will talk a bit about Liverpool. Liverpool has been performing badly for the past few matches, i am disappointed of course. But as a Liverpool fan, what i will say is 'Good Luck for the remaining matches.' and 'Go get the title next season!!'. Lastly, Gerrard is leaving Liverpool soon... ahh, one of my favourite player. Here, i wish him all the best!! Really proud of his goal against QPR. #YNWA #CaptainFantastic

Everything Is New

Hey there!! So, I had my orientation yesterday. It was totally awesome. Made some friends, though we are not that close yet, i believe we will, soon...

From the picture above, you can see my class. Damn it man. Can't see my entire face. Well, this is the 1st picture we took as a class, so i just put it up. My class consist of mainly girls. Just 2 boys. The other guy is called Shaikh. We became friends fast because we are the only boys. Not everyone in this photo is a year 1 though. The most bottom left girl and the most bottom middle girl are my seniors. We took this in the lift by the way.

Moving on, all freshies have a year 2 senior buddy. My senior buddy name is Yong Lok. He was totally awesome. He is not shy, which makes him such a great buddy. He kept talking to me, and he joke a lot. He also told me a lot of what i can expect in my course. Did i mention my course is DHT??

Theres this year 3 senior, who was once yong lok buddy, came over to me and talk a lot to me too. He call me his grand-buddy. You get it?? Its like the 3 generation. I am really sorry as i forgot that year 3 senior's name. He was also really cool. Just like yong lok.

Ok, so what was my orientation like. Well, we have some cool performance to enjoy in the auditorium, before we have to start dancing in the auditorium. After all that, we went to a lecture room to meet our course manager. He told us a lot of things regarding the rules, our attire, and a lot of stuff. One was about our social media, which includes blog. Apparently, they will most probably check out my blog and make sure i do not post 'Hate Massages'. Also, i think i might have to stop cursing, though i censored every time i curse, its best not to. I will still blog for sure, just that i can't blog hate post.

After the admin matters and meeting some of my lecturers, we played some games. It was fun as I get to bond with my class. Then we had dinner, which is buffet to celebrate the be-lated birthday of two lecturers. Damn, the curry was spicy. Oh, something hilarious happened. After dinner, i was finding the restroom, saw one finally, i went in. After awhile, the course manager came into the restroom too. He was most probably shocked when he saw me. He then said 'Delvin, this is the toilet for staff'. In my mind i was thinking 'OH SH*T.' I quickly wash my hands, said sorry, before heading out. It was kinda hilarious.

Lastly, we headed back to the lecture room to have a singing session. I sang badly, not sure if its because i haven recover from the surgery, or because i am bad at singing. But i used to be in choir. What?? Shocked that i used to be in choir?? Haha, i get that a lot. Everything ended at around 9pm. Definitely had a great time yesterday. The orientation was thanks to all the seniors for sure. They were the ones who planned the orientation. Really grateful for such a awesome orientation. Can't say if its the best orientation, but definitely a good one.

Surgery

Today, it will just be a short post. Well, I am going for a surgery later this afternoon. Not joking man. Let me tell you the further details...

Ok, so in your mind, you must be in a deep confusion and thinking 'WHY!?!? WHAT HAPPENED??!!??'. Anyways, thanks for your concern.

Heres what happen, I had a dental appointment a few days ago to do braces. However, after i did an x-ray, the dentist told me that there is a tooth inside my gum, and that tooth, is blocking the roots of my other teeth. Therefore, i need to do a minor surgery to take out that extra tooth. Don't look at me like that, i also find it peculiar that there is an extra tooth inside my gum.

If i do not remove that tooth, i can't do braces. So, i intend to go for the surgery. Of course there is a risk. Every surgery have a risk. But i am willing to go for this surgery as the risk for this surgery is super tiny. Also, i believe in the surgeon. I am quite confident in him, and believe that the surgery will be a total success. As for all of you reading this, if you are my friend, put your palms and fingers together and pray for me. Hahaha. By the way, i will be half awake during the surgery, as they will just numb my mouth. Damn, now i am scared.

Hopefully, the surgery will be a success and i will recover fast, because my school's orientation is around the corner. Did i mention that i have been enrolled to Nanyang Polytechnic. Ahh~ I don't wanna miss orientation.

My Trip

Hey guys, i am back from the family trip to malaysia. Actually, i am back like 6 days ago. I tried to blog earlier, but my bro keep dragging to send me the photos that he took during the trip.

Now... about the trip.

I didn't elaborate which part of malaysia the last time. Ok, 1st i went to genting for 2 days, then went to kuala lumpur for 2 days. If there is anything i hate about the trip, its definitely the bus trip. Although there is game console, a tv to watch movies, and food, i can't take the 7 hours ride from Singapore to genting. Yeah, you heard me right, 7 HOURS!! Am i the only one who doesn't know it takes so long to reach genting?? The only thing i did in the 7 hours is sleep and eat.

I don't usually fall asleep, but when i do, its when there is tv and game console. You get me right??

But the graphics quality is not very good though. So, no point. I don't think i ever wanna go genting again. Unless with friends. You see, going on a bus trip with friends is like on a whole different level. So, in genting, the hotel room i got is very tiny. I can barely walk when i open up my luggage. I am sharing a room with my brother, and the last thing i need is to lock the bathroom doors. Well, theres no lock for the bathroom doors. My brother and i went 'wtf' when we realised that theres no lock.

1st time to genting btw. I think there used to be an amusement park, but it got closed down. So, we went to the snow world. Basically, you go into a huge room covered in fake snow, and just enjoy about half and hour inside the tremendous cold temperature. The worse has yet to come. You can't freaking take pictures with your phone!! Thats just preposterous!! Preposterous i say!!

We also went bowling. Well, the bowling at genting is very special compared to regular bowling. You know why?? Cause theres magic, sorcery, illusion. Just kidding, hahaha. Its special cause its a glow-in-the-dark bowling. The place is very dark with the walls and bowling pins glowing. If only the bowling balls glow too. I have some pictures of it below.

After 2 days in genting, next up, KL. The kuala lumpur experience is definitely better then the one in genting in my opinion. 1st of all, the room in KL is so much bigger with a living room, and a bathroom which there is a door for you to lock. Best thing of all is there is free wifi in the room. In the room, not lobby!! Most of the time in KL, we just eat, sleep and watched tv. Also a lot of use of the phone. I mean, how can i not, theres free wifi in the room. Thats about all for the trip to malaysia. Ok, now some pictures we took in malaysia. Just a few cause i don't want my whole post to be filled with like 20+ pictures.

On a serious note, i am sure all of you heard about the passing of Lee Kuan Yew. I am saddened to hear of the passing of Lee Kuan Yew, my country's first prime minister. The one who changed Singapore. A great man, a great leader. Here, i want to offer my deepest condolences to the Lee family. Without Lee Kuan Yew, i would not be able to blog here, i would not be able watch soccer matches, i would not be able to go school and meet so many of my awesome friends, i also would not to be able to... gahh, you know what i mean. R.I.P Mr Lee Kuan Yew.
